IHGI Conducts Eco-Friendly Innovation Exhibition

All students are hereby informed that an Eco-Friendly Innovation Exhibition will be held on April 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the IHGI Campus.

The purpose of this activity is to showcase eco-friendly innovations developed by students and to promote awareness about sustainability and environmental responsibility.

During the event, students will set up stalls exhibiting models, projects, and posters related to sustainability. The innovations will be evaluated, and the best entries will be judged and awarded.

All IT Department students are hereby informed that a Mini Hackathon will be organized on 27 March 2026 in collaboration with the IT Club.

The objective of this event is to enhance students’ creativity, technical skills, and competitive spirit. All students are encouraged to participate and make the most of this opportunity.

The Environment Cell is organizing an Environment Awareness Drive on 26 February 2026 at Seechewal Model, Village Dalla.

The purpose of this visit is to create awareness among students about environment conservation, sustainable development, and the successful eco-restoration initiatives implemented under the Seechewal Model. Students will gain practical knowledge about river rejuvenation, waste management, and community participation in environment protection.

After the awareness drive, participants will also visit Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib for educational and spiritual enrichment.

The Sports Club of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions has announced the organization of a Cricket and Badminton Tournament for the academic session 2025–2026. The tournament is scheduled to be held on 9 February 2026 at 12:30 P.M. at the Cricket Ground and Badminton Court of the institution. All students of IHGI are eligible to participate. Cricket teams must consist of 11 players, and badminton matches will be conducted in both singles and doubles categories.

Interested students and teams are required to register their names with Mr. Manvir Singh. The tournament will be conducted according to standard rules, and all participants must strictly follow the college code of conduct. The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding.

Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions informs all students and staff that the Annual Athletics Meet and Volleyball Tournament will be organized on campus. The Athletics Meet will be held on 21 August 2025 at 1:00 PM at the IHGI Ground, featuring events such as 100m, 200m, 400m races, 100×4 relay, 400×4 relay, and long jump. The Volleyball Tournament will take place on 22 August 2025 from 1:00 PM onwards at the IHS School Ground. All students are invited to attend and support the participants. Students interested in participating in any of the events are requested to register their names with the Sports Coordinator by 18 August 2025.

The Literary Club of Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions is organizing an Inter-Department Debate Competition on 19 August 2025 at 1:00 PM in Horizon Hall, HM Building. The competition aims to provide students with an excellent platform to showcase their public speaking skills, logical thinking, and confidence. The event is open to all students, and interested participants can register through the Google Form shared in their class WhatsApp groups by the respective coordinators or through the QR code provided on the event flyer. Students from all departments are encouraged to participate actively and make the event successful.
