Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences
The paramedical discipline of medical laboratory sciences is concerned with the microscopic, pathological, and biochemical analysis of bodily tissues, cells, and fluids. It gives students the skills they need to help doctors diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses. The COVID-19 pandemic has demonstrated that choosing a healthcare provider is the optimal course of action. The National Education Policy-2020 and the model curriculum created by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) inform the structure of the B.Sc. MLS program’s curriculum. Our faculty provides this excellent programme to the students, which includes clinical training and hands-on practice in various multispecialty hospitals and medical colleges around the region, including Fortis Hospital, Capitol Hospital, Shrimann Hospital, Civil Hospital, and Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).This supports the student’s overall growth and communication in preparing them for interactions with the workplace, healthcare facilities, and real-world scenarios. Our students become successful professionals through the variety of skills and knowledge they acquire following classroom instruction and hands-on practice in various laboratories, enabling them to meet and overcome any obstacles they may encounter in the real world.
